Beginning October 22 – November 1, Rho Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will celebrate poetry with the Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival. Since the 1980’s, the biennial poetry event has involved over 500 festival poets, including Nobel Laureates, Pulitzer Prize winners, and an array of poets from diverse cultures. On Sunday, October 18, Rho Gamma Omega chapter virtually participated in the 2020 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Virtual Breast Cancer Walk for Newark, NJ. Chapter members walked in their local neighborhoods and got in steps to show support for the cause. The chapter also fundraised via the team page, Alpha Kappa Alpha-RGO.
